TeknoVore is the solo project from George Klontzas created in 2020. They first drew attention with the release of their first songs Olethros and Take Me Away which led to various remixes, interest from labels and their collaboration with rising star J:dead on the hit single Tearing Me Apart which quickly established them as a rising force in the underground electronic scene. Soon they were signed to Infacted Recordings and released the single Anachronist in December 2021 in advance of their full-length debut The Theseus Paradox in March 2022, both of which have received glowing reviews.

Their second album “Caerdroia” was released June 7,2024 and continued their exploration of nostalgic yet forward-thinking and progressive dark electronic music production.

Teknovore have appeared at a number of major European festivals including WGT (DE), Dark Dance Treffen (DE), Hellsinki Industrial Fest (FI) and Resistanz(UK).

Teknovore’s tracks are marked by their deep basslines, pounding rhythms, melodic peaks and an unmistakable sense of energy and urgency. They take inspiration from a diverse range of electronic genres - from brooding, mid-tempo EBSM to aggressive dark Techno and Psytrance - while keeping one foot firmly planted in EBM/Industrial to forge something uniquely personal.

Teknovore explores the themes of cosmic indifferentism and the metaphysics of identity through their music.

DRAVEN

Draven is a 30-year-old producer from Athens, blending midtempo, dubstep, hard techno, and cinematic orchestral music into a sound built for maximum impact.

His music is defined by high production value, dark melodies, and crushing basslines, drawing comparisons to artists like Rezz, Gesaffelstein, and 1788-L.

His debut album Abyssal Arcana (2022) introduced his genre-defying approach, but it was Massacre Blood Club (2024) that cemented his place in the dark electronic scene. Featuring collaborations with We Are Magonia, Teknovore, and CONNÖR, Massacre Blood Club merges heavy bass, industrial textures, and cinematic atmospheres, creating an immersive and intense listening experience.

Tracks like "777" and "Blasphemy" have earned Draven a devoted following within underground communities, resonating with fans who crave complex, cinematic soundscapes and unrelenting bass. His sound is minimal, heavy, and purpose-driven—crafted for those who appreciate precision and power.

With a growing international following and increasing momentum across streaming platforms, Draven is carving his own lane in the heavy electronic music scene.

No trends. No filler. Just dark melodies, heavy drops, and uncompromising sound.

Welcome to the Cult of Draven.

Review

Aphorism - A short saying that is intended to express a general truth. Industrial techno is back on the menu boys! (Et al) ..or at least some heavy techno, with a filthy dose of Deathstep - one of the hardest genres of dubstep. At just under 5 minutes long 'Aphorism' is a banquet of thumping electronics. The first minute and 20 builds the tension, a drum in the deep, a ghostly spoken sample, and an atmosphere of stillness about to be torn asunder. We then get smacked by the heavy techno and forced to move whether you have any intention to or not! The thump, thump, thump feels satisfying. Then that sense of stillness comes back.. Oh sweet summer child, did you think that was all this track had? Buckle the fuck up.. At 3:00 we hit the dark techno, the electro peaks, the deeper chest bursting drums, and before you know it you're slapped on the other side of your face with Deathstep. This track shakes you in as many directions as you have limbs and that's why you find yourself involuntarily dancing.. this tempo that's grabbed you, throttled you, and shakes you from start to finish is what's making you dance. This is what should be defined as true Electronic Body Movement.. The synapses sparking and making you move no matter how dead footed you thought you were.

Coral's Commentary: (A new mini-section for the random gold my partner comes out with as I review things.)

They make such good music together, they should have a baby.

Conclusion

Techno in any sense of the word can be of particularly discerning taste depending on who's listening, from the electro lover who will find EVERYTHING amazing, to the techno snob who will only ever smile or dance at the niche'st of sample packs used in production. What TeknoVore and Draven have put together with 'Aphorism' is a dish so well served and marinated in all things electro-goodness, that its very sound drips with decadence, and mastery. It's for everyone basically, and if someone doesn't enjoy it, tell them that their taste is embarrassing and that you can't be associated with them anymore.. This serving of stomp is not just any electro, this is T&D's finest prime cut harsh techno, and side of crunchy Deathstep dance floor filler.

Thank you!
