I was honoured to have an interview with Chaka, the red painted drummer of Heilung honoured me with an interview to talk about his work with Heilung, his spirituality, the importance of community, and the therapy groups he is a part of and / or runs outside of Heilung, to help people, and the rainforest.
You can find all social media links, sign ups, and further work of Chaka in the linktree below:

This was incredibly special for me, Heilung are responsible for my conversion to paganism and the most important musicians in my life. I have attended the rituals 6 times, and their music is a constant rock for me; I don't know what I would have done if I had not discovered their poignant healing.
A huge thank you to Chaka, James, my assistants Coral and Laura, and to the staff of Valhalla, held in Basingstoke U.K. every July. (Amazing festival!)
I did have every intention of putting together another video review of Valhalla Fest as well as a written review, however all of the pictures, and videos I took just don't seem to show any of the magic and brilliance of the festival that I wanted to capture. It has everything from re-enactments, almost non-stop wonderful musicians, a plethora of shops, demonstrations, battles, workshops, crafting, storytelling, animals, a woodland temple dedicated to the Gods, a fest, a wide selection of mean, boat burning, fire dancing, and so much more; All in an intimate sized field where so many people have found companionship, love, and a sense of belonging. Make sure you take some time to visit Valhalla Viking Festival in Basingstoke, held every July.
