Review

Starting off fun with Kuro (Frontman) playfully introducing the track with the word 'Bounce', you feel this is going to be a light hearted party track.. Hell no. This is a heavy, angry, and urgent track. Almost like a cry for help, this track creates a sense of claustrophobia and entrapment with a lyrical subject that of someone who is being gas-lit.

As soon as the guitars kick in, there is a brilliant electronic twist on a vocal at 0:15, followed by a vocal trap metal style verse that throws you just as quickly back in to the fire of the guitar. Each verse and chorus is like getting a second to pop your head up in a firefight, only for the drums and guitars riffs to begin ripping in to your position once more in between each vocal blast.

The lyrical content is probably something a lot of us can relate to and have a connection with. This is a powerful statement and track from KURO; yet another barbed arrow in the quiver of why KURO deserves to be recognised and gain ground on the live music scene!

It's the beauty in sinking ships.. That does not mean what you think it means!

Thank you!
